I really have to take cooking seriously.  I was just told to do so this evening while we are having early dinner at Lucky Plaza after watching the Avengers.  I thought I booked for 1pm 3D show but unfortunately it was 1am so we ended up watching the digital one. It’s a good thing the tickets were not forfeited and there are still available seats left for the 12:45pm show.  Anyways, I am thinking of tailgating recipes and put some twist on them because this special person really loves to eat and cook as well.  And he is a very good cook, my iron chef! I know I cannot beat him when it comes to cooking but I least I have to learn (and oh, by the way…have to take it seriously) hahaha!

Talking about carpentry (as if I have know much about it) hahaha…  Well, if you are planning to have your own house in the near future, sometimes you’d be interested into this kind of things and stuff. The tools use to work with woods like festool which is the most preferred brand precision and high quality power tool. I might not be the one who will actually use it but I think it would be a necessity (hmmmm…I just thought so).

I’m so happy that my new pass has been approved by MOM.  I’ve got less worries now, my stay here in Singapore is secured for the next couple of years. Thank you Lord for another blessing even if I’m pasaway sometimes (or most of the time).  Still the same prayer, hear them Lord because there are a lot of them who are praying for me.  Please don’t make it difficult for them hehehe…that is for my IELTS test result.  Band 8 is my target and no grade lower than band 7, pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee….

I am waiting for two things. The result of my IELTS test and the approval of my pass.  Few more days before the release of my IELTS test.  I really hope and pray that I’d be able to get the band 8 target.  Please…please…please! Both results will be released this week.  Lord, please give favorable results.  I want to go to the Philippines for Kath’s wedding with the good news and I also want to process all the necessary documents that we need as soon as possible.

Before going home, I decided to go to a department store just to window shop.  I saw this nice curtain made of kaufmann fabric. I wanted to buy it because the price is pretty much reasonable. But sad to say, I can’t because payroll will be credited this Friday and I don’t have cash anymore.  Well, I do have but just enough until the payday hahaha! Let’s see if it’s still available this weekend.  Crossing my fingers.

Just a bit of update about my life here in Singapore. I’ve been here for 9 months now and been working for 8 months. These past couple of months I’ve been looking for a new job and just this Friday, I got an offer. I am not decided yet, whether I will take it or not. My main consideration is the distance.  It’s quite far from where I am staying right now and it would cost me more for the transportation and also would take 2 hours travel time (one way). I hope the other one would give me an update early next week so I can decide on it. If I accepted the offer, the background check and all other requirement in processing my employment will follow and probably by June I already have a new job.  Let’s see how it goes.  For now, I’ve got to buy some time before I finally decide.

One of the things that I want to have is a car. Oh, and of course I have to learn how to drive! Hahaha…during my holiday in Korea, I didn’t let the opportunity to ride a bump car pass. They are all just the same bump cars but the experience in Korea is different.  My friend took a photo of my so called “car crash” hahaha! A perfectly captured one.  I also got to experience driving a family bike (it’s actually 4-wheel kind, dunno how come it’s still called a bike) ahahaha…anyway, I thought it’s easy but no.  Especially when you have passengers.  But the experience was very nice and exciting. This made me think that I really would learn how to drive. Well, I just need more confidence and courage when I am on the road (I mean the real one) with all the motorists, disciplined and not. So this whispbar roof racks that my friend wanted to buy is something that I think I would also buy when I got to have my own car. The question is, when?

Today, another friend of mine told me how come I am so slim even if I eat a lot.  I say it’s the metabolism, the bone structure and the genes! Hahaha…if you’d only knew how much I wanted to gain a little bit more of weight, you wouldn’t envy me that much.  Anyways, she asked me make some research about some brand of safe diet pills.  I think she really wants to try.  Another option is by going to gym and have routine exercise.  Well, whatever she feels like and whichever she is comfortable with, I will support her.

Have you ever found a nice gazebo kit yet?  It’s actually the question that was thrown to me by one of my good friends today.  Hahaha…I actually haven’t found one yet but soon I will.  Whoa…I really need to have a break! I need some time to relax.  Been so stress and unhappy at work since the first working day of this month.  It seems like everyday is a very long and tiring day.  Every morning I had to drag my feet to come to work.  If only I’ve got a choice as before, when I was still in the Philippines…I would have resigned.  But the situation right now is different.  I am in a foreign land and bound by a contract at work.  Can’t wait for the end of my contract and at the same time a bit worried of getting a new job soon.  Just hoping for the best.

This year, we’ve got a lot of weddings to attend.  Our good friends here in SG are getting married this June.  The soon to be bride told me about the wedding rings.  She said her ate (elder sister) bought them.  I assume the rings were expensive and probably made by a class ring designer.  I haven’t seen them though, but I think the quality and style are unique and classy.  Can’t wait to witness their union!
